Born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, Jaime Manuel Perez is the proud son of migrants from Sinaloa and Sonora. He is a recent graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Latin American, Latinx, and Caribbean Studies and became the first person in his family to graduate from college.
Jaime has worked diligently within a variety of progressive organizations in Arizona. He found his passion for progressive policy while serving on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Progressive People’s Alliance, an organization centered on creating a pathway for progressive policies across the state. Jaime has also worked across various political campaigns, such as Mission for Arizona, focusing his efforts on organizing the Spanish-speaking voter population of Phoenix.
In his free time, Jaime enjoys playing video games and spending time with friends and family. He looks forward to working with Mi Familia Vota to create a future that is inclusive, equitable, and sustainable for all residents of Arizona.
