Ana Esmeralda González is a first generation immigrant from Guanajuato, Mexico. She is also a first generation graduate from the University of Texas at Austin where she earned a B.A in Health & Society and a minor in Business Administration.
Ana hopes to use her background in health to support her work as the Houston Environmental Justice Organizer. She works to address the social determinants of health that affect marginalized communities to make sure we can all live the most safe, healthy, and happy life possible.
When not working, Ana can be found trying all the good food that Houston has to offer or walking her furbaby Reeses down a local park.
